So we went on our first mini-tour a couple of weeks ago, hitting some awesome spots throughout New England and sleeping in tents set up in campgrounds, backyards, bowls, you name it. No showers, no beds, no seats in the van (or windows), and no complaining. The trip took us through Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, & New York (up state). Everywhere we went, the locals were super friendly and they ripped! Vermont breeds total SHREDDERS! I love it there and can't wait to go back! Special thanks to Josh (Chicopee Bowl), Brendan @ Maven Skateshop, and Keegan.
Below are some photos, but first, here's some video:

Rhode Island campground. Setting up tents at 10 pm is not the best way to do it. Our neighbors at the campgrounds were not psyched on us at all. Impromptu campground
Vermont...of course
Yeah, I skated in the 80's...

F.O.Y. in Providence, Rhode Island is a pretty nifty little skateshop owned and operated by some great old friends of mine- Donny Barley & Grandison Taber. Two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and one of the coolest shops you'll ever visit. Their selection is top-shelf, and their shop decks and shirts are SICK. They are also now stocking Totally decks. Click HERE to check out their website/online store. Buy one of their shirts and show them some support. If you're in Rhode Island, hell, if you're in Massachusetts even, make a b-line to Providence and check out their scene. Stop by on a Thursday night and skate in the town square where they pull out ramps and rails and set them up in the ice-rink (no ice in the summer months obviously). Donny says the sessions are fun, and I'm bummed that we missed out on this while we were up there last week. We'll try to get back up there soon!
Artifact Skateshop, located inside Haven Skatepark, now has Totally boards in stock! The shop is great, and the skatepark features a bowl with a massive wooden bassinet/fullpipe. If you're ever in Connecticut, get on over to North Haven and pay them a visit. The people here are really cool, and you'll feel welcome the second you walk through the door. Ask for Ricky in the skateshop. Click here to check out their site and to link to the skatepark's site as well.
Totally went on a mini tour through New England last week, and it was nothing short of epic! We skated a lot of sick spots, hung out with a lot of great people, and even managed to sell a few boards along the way. Stories, pics, & video to follow shortly. Stay tuned!
